BROAD COLLECTIVE MISSION STATEMENT
Broad Collective is a support organization for women artist-entrepreneurs. We create community and opportunities for our members through small support groups, networking parties, inspirational events, educational programs and our online community site.
Every artist is an entrepreneur. Our aim is to empower and inspire creative women to approach their artistic lives as a successful business. Our programs and events support our members in their quest for growth, balance and powerful self-expression.
We believe that generosity of spirit is the source of abundance. For artists, all business is personal, and Broad Collective helps to create the holistic, positive, personal experiences that nurture and sustain a creative business.
All Broad Collective members create work. We generate creative products, from films to fashion lines, and these products in turn create employment and creative opportunities for others. Our members are often hyphenates – writer/producers, film-maker/activists, set designer/architects. We exist to courage creative women to embrace our many roles and develop our own unique brands.
We believe in the benefits of cross-pollination. Broad Collective’s members come from a range of creative disciplines; approaches and solutions from different creative fields can inspire new ways of thinking. and our businesses are strengthened through partnerships and creative alliances with other artist-entrepreneurs.
