Description: Writing Workshops

"Elizabeth is an intuitive, encouraging teacher who uses a combination of practical techniques and positive reinforcement to give writers access their purest right brain creativity. The work that came out of the class I took with her - a class filled with writing MFAs, junior publishing industry people, copywriters and dedicated non-professionals - was very impressive. Quirky, quick, passionate and a brilliant writer in her own right, Elizabeth is a gem."

PROTOTYPE WORKSHOPS

Contact: info@prototypeworkshops.com

Description: Development Workshop for Solo Performers

"Prototype Workshops are for performers who write their own material, writers who perform, people who want to create one-person shows, autobiographical storytellers, comedians, and actors looking to take the script (and their careers) into their own hands. Over the course of 8 weeks, performers workshop a piece of original writing, which is presented at an informal showcase at the end of the session. The aim of the class is that each piece - whether it's part of a longer work or a shorter piece created to stand alone - is a useful prototype of the kind of work you do as an artist and a stellar reflection of your one-of-a-kind voice. Prototype Workshops are designed to address writer-performers' careers as a whole in a way that most classes (and degree programs) neglect to do.

My goal is to encourage your growth as an artist-entrepreneur and infuse your creative work with a new level of clarity, depth and personal truth.”
